Follow the roads marked in black as the best way to Laurelton Greenhouses. Print the map on your printer and bring it with you. You will find written instructions below for your convenience.
Follow US 29 south past Altavista and Hurt until you see a red brick Amico Food Shop on the right. Go past it and turn right on to state road 756. Go over the hill and along the creek bottom for about 1-2 miles. At the end of the creek go up the hill until you get to the stop sign. Turn right on to stste road 609 and follow for 1/4 mile to Brights. Turn Right on to state road 768. The Greenhouse is 1 mile on the left.
Follow US 29 north to route 40 and turn left going west for 1 mile to state road 672. Turn right and go for 3 miles to state road 609. Turn right and follow for 3 miles to Brights. Turn right on to state road 768 and go 1 mile to see the greenhouse on the left.
Follow route 40 east to state road 799 accross from the red brick Texico. Turn left and go for 1 mile. Turn right after crossing the creek on to state road 768. Go 1 mile to state road 672 and turn right. Go thru Pittsville and turn left on to state road 768 after about 1/8 mile. Follow for 3 miles to Brights and go straight accross state road 609 at cross road. Follow 768 for 1 more mile to the greenhouse on the left.
From Smith Mountian Trading Post follow state road 608 over Smith Mountian and wind your way to Pittsylvania County. About 1 mile after crossing Tollers Bridge turn left on to state road 672. Follow thru Pittsville and turn left on to state road 768 . Follow for 3 miles to Brights and go straight accross state road 609 at cross road. Follow 768 for 1 more mile to the greenhouse on the left.
